This is incredible. I’m 50% Mexican, 25% Venezuelan, and 25% Italian. My Italian Nonno basically ate the same as he did his entire life with traditional meals and foods from Italy and he lived to be 97
Absolutely incredible Marco, thanks for sharing. What a mix!! And you got those longevity genes my bro!!! Thank you for sharing and reading. Happy new year!!!
Brilliant take on personalized nutrition. The connection between the AMY1 gene and starch tolerance is wild,it actually explains why i felt like garbage on rice-heavy diets despite everyone saying they're perfect for weight loss. I've been experimenting with foods from my Baltic roots (lots of fermented stuff and root veggies) and the differencein energy levels is honestly night and day compared to following generic macro splits.
Man, this comment makes my day. Thank you!!! Crazy how once we get down to what actually works for us, big changes happen! Thanks for taking the time to read, and please let me know anything else you want me to explore. Cheers AI Architect!
Hi Natalie, thank you again for reading my newsletter. I think we are best friends now :) I did the regular DNA test from them, but then I took the data and used it for the other Genetics companies I listed down below in the article. A FM (Functional Medicine) doctor can also help you with your genes, but this is a cool DIY method. Hope you have a great day and message me anytime about any topics, questions, or anything :) Have a great day.
Jabba, I hear you. Sketch companies 100%. If you got some family around, definitely ask about your heritage. Can learn a lot about your health just from them! Thx for reading, happy new year!
This make so much sense when we talk about ancestral connections. When I look at eating for my blood type, I do not thrive on what me blood type should be eating. But when I look at my ancestors and how they ate, it makes sense that I thrive on more of an animal based diet...

This was such a fun read, Jack. Which 23 & Me test did you op for?
This is also a concept I think about all the time!

I would gladly take a DNA test if I trusted the providers with my data...I don't. Otherwise a wonderfully informative article.
