Thanks for this. I have an eating window of between 6-8 hours. I was doing longer fasts, up to 36 hours but stopped because I was worried about muscle loss. A cardio angiogram showed up a small deposit of plaque in a major artery and I know longer fasting can clear this. Now, by using amino acids I can start fasting again. 👍

Amazing Deb, thanks for this insight. You're a warrior with the 36 hours, but yes, fasting that long can have consequences. Hope you have a great day :) Stay in touch!

Hey Deb.. you may want to try some nattokinase or lumbrokinase (anti-fibrotic enzymes) to help clear the plaque. You take these on an empty stomach so they don’t have any food to break down and they work in your bloodstream to clear the plaque. Wait an hour to eat after taking. (Early AM seems to be the best time to take these for me.. I cycle them.)

Really good tips here and I will be trying several to see what works. One thing I have found when I have fasted consistently (16 hrs; 8pm to 12 noon) is that my testosterone completely tanks… any tips for keeping that elevated? (I will consistently try the bulletproof coffee.. if blended, it’s delicious and contains the saturated fat needed to produce adequate T.)
