You are clearly in a different league than me because I hadn't heard of many of those things! Out of curiosity, why no zinc, vit D, or high dose vit C?

Hey Renaissance!

Excellent catch—you're thinking like a true biohacker.

I love high-dose vitamin C for immune support and collagen synthesis—definitely a recovery powerhouse. And vitamin D? Non-negotiable year-round, especially living in Chicago winters. I probably should have called these out as part of the foundation.

Thanks for flagging it!

On zinc: I'm cautious about recommending standalone zinc because of the zinc-to-copper ratio issue.

Zinc supplementation can deplete copper, which is critical for connective tissue repair, iron metabolism, and nervous system function. Unless you're testing your levels or using a balanced multi-mineral, high-dose zinc can create more problems than it solves.

That said, bone broth naturally provides bioavailable zinc in the right ratios, which is partly why it's so powerful for recovery.

I used what I had in my pantry lol. I need to stock up on the foundational stuff! Have a great one!!! Thanks for the support, means the world me:)

Oh Natalie, this made my day! 🙏 I was inspired by so many amazing teachers on this journey, and you're right—as a whole, we're not there yet. But I'm grateful we even have spaces like this where people can learn and explore together. I'm always here if you want to chat or dive deeper into any of this. Have a wonderful holiday season!
