This is so true. I cannot properly begin my day without making the bed. If I do nothing else do nothing else, the bed is made. During the lockdowns one of the health professionals was ridiculed for suggesting we should make our beds but it was one small thing in a crazy world we could control. I never thought it was a foolish idea. My husband on the other hand lives in a perpetual state of disorder… sigh!
Love this, and couldn't agree more. It's such a refreshing start to the day, and somehow, the small act makes me feel accomplished, clearly holding greater significance than simply a made bed. Thanks for sharing this post :)

Alison! I hear you. If everything in life is going wrong, at least I made my bed.
On terms of disorder, my girlfriend has to deal with my mess all the time. You guys would relate deeply.
I'm prone to throwing my laundry all over the house after a long day at work. Currently trying to correct this naughty habit haha.
Were in this together :)
